Now, that is good news, an OS X pear user !
The packages bundled with php are not really up to date.
What you can do is run the go-pear script, download it from pear.php.net/go-pear and run with php
-Cq go-pear
Then you have the pear command, just type pear.
I'm just wondering, since i'm not an apple user, is there such a thing as a console mode ?
;)
