A PEAR-based installation of phpDocumentor would have performed a text replacement of PHPDOCUMENTOR_VER to the current version number, e.g. "phpDocumentor v1.4.2 Web Interface". I'd recommend performing a PEAR-managed installation via *pear install phpdocumentor* to see if the configuration gets set properly. -- CRB
