%PHP_BIN% -C -d output_buffering=1 -d include_path=%PEAR_PATH% -f %BIN_DIR%\pear -- %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9
@ECHO ON
shouldn't %PEAR_PATH% and %BIN_DIR% be one and the same?
Hmmm, another error. I deleted every file the PEAR installation had created and rerun the whole thing. When I tried the pear command "pear list" I got the following:
C:\Program Files\PHP 4.3.1>pear list
'php_bin@' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
I then tried to change the BAT file (which by the way, seems that the line endings are in UNIX format?) from:
set PHP_BIN=@php_bin@
set BIN_DIR=@bin_dir@
set PEAR_PATH=@include_path@
- to -
set PHP_BIN=c:\progra~1\php43~1.1\cli\php.exe
set BIN_DIR=c:\progra~1\php43~1.1
set PEAR_PATH=c:\progra~1\php43~1.1\pear
And then I get:
C:\Program Files\PHP 4.3.1>pear list
Could not open input file: c:\progra~1\php43~1.1\pear.
[...] minutes later
I tried all the changes that I could muster, but couldn't get to sort it out. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
By the way, a sample of the contents that should go in the "set" commands in the batch file would be of help. I have a suggestion to start with, if you think is needed:
REM change this lines to match the paths of your system
REM E.g.
REM set PHP_BIN=c:\php4\cli\php.exe
REM set BIN_DIR=c:\php4\
REM set PEAR_PATH=c:\php4\pear\
REM
REM *note*: the first line (set PHP_BIN=c:\php4\cli\php.exe) refers to
REM the CLI version of php.exe that in a full Windows
REM installation of PHP would usually be under the mentioned
REM folder.
REM The php.exe in the c:\php4 folder would be the CGI version.
REM If in doubt, run your php.exe from the command prompt like:
REM C:\php4\cli>php -v
REM
REM The CLI version will reply (the one to use for PEAR):
REM
REM PHP 4.3.1 (cli) (built: Feb 15 2003 23:07:00)
REM Copyright (c) 1997-2002 The PHP Group
REM Zend Engine v1.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2002 Zend Technologies
REM
REM The CGI version will reply:
REM
REM PHP 4.3.1 (cgi-fcgi), Copyright (c) 1997-2002 The PHP Group
REM Zend Engine v1.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2002 Zend Technologies
