Hi Stefan, all,
If that's the case, my apologies - seems to be alot going on at PEAR so
I'm probably out of touch with the latest procedures.
My reasoning behind making a stable release, while upgrading the version
to 3.x was this;
- There are some minor API breakages: most users probably won't be
effected but, even so, figured a major release was needed to warn people.
- The modifications I've made for 3.0.0 are in fact relatively minor
- I'm very confident in the ability of HTMLSax's unit tests to pick up
bugs and theres a whole load more unit tests in WACT
(http://wact.sf.net), where HTMLSax is being used, which would start
complaining if I break anything
Anyway - will do some reading on the latest PEAR guidelines. Anything
particular I should be aware of?
All the best,
Harry
