Hello bertrand,

Karma in a technical sense in TikiWiki project and in some others is
weight of some person deeds. Karma system means that a person with
more or positive karma have a greater influence on votings, proposals
or access restrictions. Karma points can be earned by writing docs,
commiting code to CVS, by patches, fixes sent to trackers or by score
system, which allows other members with positive karma to define
quality of your messages or other activity. I suggest you search on
http://tikiwiki.org better than PEAR.
PEAR misusing this word as their sense of it is just "access". I'm
unable to convince everyone here, because I don't have karma for that
in buddhist definition, so this misusing will take place and in the
future. "You don't have karma" sounds more pleasant than "you don't
have access", but these are not the same.
