Hello Pierre-Alain, >> The initial proposal from Japan was for "Net_Trackback". Of course >> thats nonsense, since it's not a protocol, but kind of webservice. >> >> > In the meantime, where can one get Services_TrackBack? >> >> The version we are using is here: >> http://www.schlitt.info/misc/Services_Trackback-0.1.0.tgz PAJ> Being on the topic, let redifine a rule for the record: PAJ> "Use PEAR packages only in pearweb when absolutely no solution are PAJ> available, if no package are available, propose it as a package or PAJ> implement your needs as a pearweb only thing." PAJ> Something like proposals first, then implement it in pearweb, PAJ> especially for such non critical things. Noooooo. Proposals for pearweb would kill any progress and innovation. It is like recieving permissions before making yourself a sandwich. Why everyone here is trying to remove art from PEAR and make it system with death penalties even before action occured like in some futuristic film with Tom Cruise? I think Trackback feature is good and it becomes even better Tobias made it without any side regulations. These wise advices only kill any desire to work, because it feels more like some sort of slavery or kindergarten. - Maam, can I do this thing? - Yes, but first you must do your homework, get father permssion and you shouldn't do it like that. You should do it this way. - But why can't I do it my way? - Because we know better what to do. - But why can't you do it yourself when? - Who is need this thing - me or you??! Is coding so dangerous to treat developers like children? PAJ> By the way, can you not post new entries on pear-webmasters but only PAJ> to the related maintainers? Perhaps to pear-doc since these guys maintain PEAR public information? To pear-general too, since it is interesting to know what packages exist in PEAR and what they are good for. -- anatoly
