Yes, it is. This doesn't mean duplicating all of php's functions in objects.
Encouraging the use of that would be encouraging unnecessarily slow, encumbered
code. That's my opinion, anyway - I'm curious what other people think of it.

In my opinion, if there are naming problems, they should be solved in php, not
by writing wrapper classes.
