I would actually have interest in support for
encrypted zip files. We get Zip Code data CDs from the
US Postal Service in my office and each of the files
on the CD is an encrypted zip file that has to be
opened manually with Stuffit Expander (or PKUnzip or
WinZip on windows). The unix command line zip program
that comes with Mac OS X does not support encrypted
zip files.
If there is an open source command line zip program
that does support encrypted zip files, then I'd be
interested in that as well. If there's a library that
supports them that can be used with PHP then I would
be glad to write an extension to wrap it.
