Hello,

I don't know if there is anything unix native to do that, but I think you can use the dosemu utility to run the pkunzip from the command line. -- Regards, Manuel Lemos PHP Classes - Free ready to use OOP components written in PHP http://www.phpclasses.org/ PHP Reviews - Reviews of PHP books and other products http://www.phpclasses.org/reviews/ Metastorage - Data object relational mapping layer generator http://www.meta-language.net/metastorage.htmlI think you could use the actual zip command instead and solve your problem faster. You may also want to try gnupg instead that does both encrypion and compression if you want it all in a single program.I would actually have interest in support for encrypted zip files. We get Zip Code data CDs from the US Postal Service in my office and each of the files on the CD is an encrypted zip file that has to be opened manually with Stuffit Expander (or PKUnzip or WinZip on windows). The unix command line zip program that comes with Mac OS X does not support encrypted zip files. If there is an open source command line zip program that does support encrypted zip files, then I'd be interested in that as well. If there's a library that supports them that can be used with PHP then I would be glad to write an extension to wrap it.
