I am the other one. :) I entirely agree with Stephan. IMHO it would be best to provide an extension that is independent from id3lib for id3v1 and uses the id3lib for id3v2 tags. I started to code support for id3v2 tags without id3lib but that isn't big fun and very time consuming, too. +1 from me for merging the two extensions. Regards, Carsten
