Probably a very stupid question but....

I was at work with many things I should be doing but none I wanted to as I have a problem with PHP 4.0.4pl1 on IIS and I thought, "Hey, why not pull down RC7 and see if that works" so... I grabbed it, found my machine with Vis Studio on it, downloaded the winsource.zip file which holds lots of libraries and includes and stuff, followed the instructions.. However.... I couldnt get it to compile - now, I dont normally work with MSVC++ so, this is probably very much related, so, could someone please tell me how I should compile it.. I changed the include stuff to include the win32\include directory, and it found all the files, but.. things like php.exe I tried to compile said things like (off top of head so paths arent right) \win32\include\bcmath\output.c and win32\output.c are both set to output to the same directory build cannot take place and stopped. How can I a) configure what I do/dont want b) compile it up Thanks All pointers gratefully received
