I'm not familiar with the winsource.zip file you mentioned in
your original post (I build PHP from the snapshots from
http://snaps.php.net/files/), but all that I do is:
* unpack the .tar.gz file,
* convert *.ds[pw] files from LF to CRLF lines (as needed),
* load win32/php4ts.dsw,
* Build -> Set Active Configuration -> "php4ts - Win32 Release_TS_inline"
* Build -> Rebuild All
seems like you have bison in your MSVC executables, so this
should be enough... last PHP version I built was RC6, and this
worked.
