First question is. What compiler should I use?
MS VC++ 6.0 or higher, I believe. (never done it, just seen the answer fly by)
Somewhere in the morass of cvs.php.net and/or snaps.php.net is a whatsit file that sets up all the files to be compiled, but you still have the dubious pleasure of fighting with Microsoft dialogs to set up some header paths and crap like that I think.
2. Do you want these tests doing on Multiple Win32 platforms? If so, I can
probably test Win95, 98, 2000 Pro/Server and XP Pro.
The more the better -- Win95, Win98, Win2K, and WinXP are all *SO* different, they shouldn't even all be called Windows.
3. Will you want the tests doing from the same build or compiled separately
on each machine?
I *THINK* that any one build should work on all four, or we're in deep, deep, deep trouble.
Although, if you can definitively reduce the number of bugs by compiling 4 times, I guess that would be a win, wouldn't it?...
