make test 2>&1 | less will allow you to view the output on your own schedule. When the test doesn't segfault, by a simple sapi/cli/php -f path/to/tests/file.php you might be looking at shell limits, rather then actual errors.Duh, why didn't I think of that? Just for grins I ran "make test" as root, and it's still cored. (But I *STILL* can't find one test where it happens.) The system throws a mesasage into the messages file when it cores, so I suppose I could compare the pid numbers of the tests to figure out which one was running at the time of the core...
I guess I should just be happy that it's working at all... Look at some of the results I'm getting from the tests: -- Testing uasort() -- array(7) { [0]=> float(-0.33333333333333) ["-2147483648"]=> array(2) {Is anyone else out there testing 4.3.0-pre2 on a 64-bit platform? I'd like to know if this is FreeBSD specific, or if it happens on other 64-bit platforms...Similar issues with arrays have been noticed on Tru64 Compaq, by Sebastian Nohn. Last time I tried AIX with 64 arch, it also failed. It's about time I tested AIX again :)
