Well, no, that isn't your opinion because you have stated that you think a simple templating system would be a good idea. No matter how simple you make it, it is still another syntax. The question is really where the line should be drawn on the sort of features this simplified template syntax should contain. People want templates. Different people want templates with varying levels of complexity. We can either pretend these people don't exist or we can do what we can to help them get what they want while at the same time making sure that the vicious circle of templates on top of templates does not propogate. -Rasmus
