: PHP is not freeware. See http://www.php.net/license.html
GCC and many oter C compilers also free, that means that there is no
concept of commercial product in Unix, right? Or you have to make your
own compiler or buy a commercial one. Then again, the OS is
free which runs your program! So one will need to write an OS
to sell a commercial software.... quite easy!
If I understand right the terms, then I think there is nothing wrong
with selling a custom-made script, since I am not managing or including
PHP with it. They say, "We want this for $X in Z language", I do it and give
it to them, and I want some protection that they don't resell my work.
Is there anything wrong with it? I don't live in USA, and I am not 18 yet,
so I can't officially register or get patents or whatever (I don't
understand
how it works actually!).
Thanks.
