Re: [PHP4BETA] Draft for PHP 4.0 Beta 1 page

"Release notes" sound like the wrong title for this page, since it is really a mix of technical release notes and almost a press release. It is more of a release announcement. With our historical burden of setting release dates, I think we should be a bit more defensive than saying "within a few months". This is perceived as "in september". What about "Q4 1999 or Q1 2000"? And some nitpicking, the "4" in the PHP 4 logo looks really awkward. :-) And if we ever need a slogan, here it is: "PHP 4.0: The art of Zend". - Stig On Thu, 15 Jul 1999, Zeev Suraski wrote: > http://www.php.net/version4/ > > Comments welcome! > > Zeev > -- > Zeev Suraski <zeev@zend.com> http://www.zend.com/ > For a PGP public key, finger bourbon@netvision.net.il > > > -- > PHP 4 Beta >
