Hello,
Maybe I am missing something but I just read the zend website and it states that
zend "includes":
Code Distribution
Unlike earlier versions of PHP, {PRIVATE "TYPE=PICT;ALT=Zend"}zend compiles the input
script into an
intermediate representation, that cannot be easily reversed into the original
script. A tool that compiles scripts into platform independant binary files is now
under development. Such a tool would allow you to distribute compiled versions
of your PHP scripts to end users, without letting them peek at the code.
Support Products
The design of {PRIVATE "TYPE=PICT;ALT=Zend"}allows for separate, {PRIVATE
"TYPE=PICT;ALT=Zend"}zend-related components to be written. At
this time, the list includes an optimizing compiler (generating code that's up to
four times faster than the of the standard compiler), a persistent compiled script
registry, a debugger and a profiler.
What am I missing?
