Hi, Interesting thing is that it only occurs under Apache/w32. If I run php from the commandline, it will parse all pages perfectly, but as soon as I try it under Apache, it page faults in php4ts.dll. This happens with Apache 1.3.6 and 1.3.9. Haven't tried any other versions. At 05:20 PM 11/29/99 +1100, Graeme Merrall wrote:
In any case, we really haven't been able to debug this Win32 problem. The binaries work for most people but quite a few report not even being able to get them running. It is pretty strange and probably has something to do with differences of the system. Different .dll's or something. If you could get a compiler and try and see if a version you compile on your own works that would help out to a certain degree. I can crash PHP B3 on Win32 everytime by specifying a document root in php.ini. Interestingly (or not) the doc root is the same as that specified in Apache 1.3.9's httpd.conf. Removing the doc root makes PHP run fine. The debug info is PHP caused an invalid page fault in module PHP4TS.DLL at 017f:100489f6. (Apache 1.3.9 + Win98 + PHP4b3 as per php.net) Haven't been able to reproduce on PWS as such, won't parse my .php docs for some reason :( Cheers, Graeme -- PHP 4.0 Beta Mailing List <http://www.php.net/version4/> To unsubscribe, e-mail: php4beta-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php4beta-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php4beta-admin@lists.php.net
