This happened to me too. My script just queries a database via ODBC and
makes IIS4 hang on exit. The output is flushed to the client browser but
it does not close the connection.
I suppose that it is one of those memory corruption crashes when freeing
any resources at the script exit. I wonder if is there a way to enable
memory allocation debugging like under the Unix PHP that make useful error
messages go to the Apache error log.
BTW, does anybody have built PHP 4 to run with IIS but with debugging
enabled?
