Ultimately we're going to be keeping it inline with the current color-scheme and theme. If you can think of the most simplistic, well-architectured base of a PHP calendar system to work with, I wouldn't be opposed to using it as a base and modding it out. Are there any restrictions as to using something along the lines of the jQuery UI calendar widget for form submissions? I wouldn't mind tweaking themeroller a bit. I've also got experience with calendar systems, having built out an employee vacation request and management application. It probably has much of the handling we'd need, I'd just want to move it to a not-so-home-grown framework before building on top of it. Also, maybe Hannes could solve this without a message to the documentation team. I'm looking to get access to the documentation so I can begin filling in the blanks on the SPL pages. I recently gave a talk on real-world use cases and have a boatload of example code I've been meaning to put in the comments. I figure I might as well describe the iterators and interfaces while I'm at it.
