Joind.in currently offers the possibility to register a multitude of
events, such as:
- Courses or workshop days, ex: http://joind.in/event/view/845
- Conferences, ex: http://joind.in/event/view/782
- User groups, ex: https://joind.in/event/view/828
Joind.in registers the longitude and lattitude for events (and offers
lookup for those who only know their address) and using this information
it is possible to do a lookup of events that are near you.
Concerning grouping of events, such as specific user groups or php-only
events, does Joind.in support tags. With some user contributions it is
even possible to register user groups with some meta-data and link them
to a specific tag.
