Don't take anything directed at you personally. It is with all
sincerity that I say that no one here, directly involved with the PHP
project, would like to see you ingest any fecal material and
subsequently expire. With that said, perhaps you might try Lisp or
Ada. To my knowledge, neither has a MySQL API, so you wouldn't need
to worry about the deprecation of such in the future.
