Stas, I tried that - no difference. In fact, in my original attempt the exe
was in the same directory as the script, so no path was needed. The
application appears to be running but it doesn't do anything. I have to shut
down the process from WinNT Task Manager.
Incidentally, if I run the script from the command line it works fine. It's
only when it's invoked from the browser that it hangs. I have the same
problem with a call to a COM function, as I have posted in another thread.
