There are a lot of commercial products there too from big companies that claim they support PHP
while in fact they are only trying to gain attention from web developers for their products, because
they now consider PHP either a serious player in the web business or a threat for their bloated java
solutions. So if you want to reject PHP extensions for commercial products, it would be fair to do
it globally, not just for this one.
