I'm currently configuring it by adding one by one other options and will post when I find the first failure. Do this: cvs up -dPA ; ./cvsclean ; ./buildconf ; ./configure --with-apxs=/usr/local/bin/apxs ; make (assuming you're pulling the stuff from CVS and not using a snapshot. If latter, get a new snapshot and do only the configure part) If the above works, start adding your configure options one by one until it breaks. I'm compiling on a clean built Redhat Linux 7.2 i386 machine. I have searched the bug database but couldn't find any thing related. the link command. If I copy that link line and remove /usr/local/lib from the module list, it works fine.
