 PHP Version: 4.2.2
 New Comment:

I just tried it but I had to use the php4apache2.dll frpm my previous
installation - I got an error that a procedure couldn't be found on
apache startup.

Could it make a difference if I use Apache 1.x?

Thanks

Daniel

Sorry for my dumb question but how can I use the CVS snapshot on win2K
- are there binaries too?

I am usually on Linux - so I am not that experianced on win2K.

Thanks

Daniel

can you please try the latest CVS snapshots? I did a little bit of
work on this and am wondering if it may have fixed your problems.

Update:

jdk 1.3.1 does also not work with sablotron. It's 1.2, which has no
problems...
see http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=13344
for more about that

We don't use sablotron here too.

The script is about 20 lines long and only interfaces to a SDK
implemented in Java. The Java part does some complicated image
texturizing tasks. The php part only calls the apropriate methods.

We use apache 2 here and now I had the idea to simply change the max
request per child value. Now the questions are:
Would it make a difference to use apache 1.x ?
As I know now the change of the java module is a little tricky, but
does someone know what causes the error.
As I use this box only for exactly this one task I am flexible with the
environment.
And if you say that the problem can be minimized by change the child
lifetime I am very flexible with that.
As a restart of apache solves the problem this may be an issue.
