Well, you just install Oracle client [at least under NT], but you have to
do a custom install, as the normal "client" install doesn't install
everything [i think there are 3 or 4 levels of install, and i believe
there is one called "client" but it might be called "default" or something
similar].
As w/ most Oracle installs [as i'm finding out], one usually spends a
while reinstalling, as it took me 5 attempts to get it right. The
important thing to install is SQL Plus [for testing] and the OCI
libraries.
