thanks, but that has no effect. I guess I need to understand where
AM_PROG_LIBTOOL comes from and then I can figure out why it's not there and
how I put it in the "library". the version of automake does not appear to be
relevant, it's clearly something wrong with the PHP4PL2 distribution. anyone
have any ideas?!
[troy@dublin php-4.0.1pl2]$ automake --verbose --foreign -a
automake: reading configure.in
automake: reading Zend/acinclude.m4
automake: reading Zend/Zend.m4
automake: reading TSRM/tsrm.m4
automake: reading TSRM/threads.m4
automake: reading aclocal.m4
automake: reading dynlib.m4
automake: reading Zend/Makefile.am
automake: creating Zend/Makefile.in
[troy@dublin php-4.0.1pl2]$ aclocal
aclocal: configure.in: 748: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library
