You mean Zak worked on performance? Zak? :) Something along the lines of 1000% improvement has to be a result of a major improvement in the scripting engine, and I don't recall making any revolutionary changes in Zend. What kind of script did you test? Can you post a couple of benchmarks with their results under 4.0.1 and 4.0.2RC1?
