I've tried to get this transparent compression working, but I was not able to check if it worked or not? I thought I simply check the headers sent back? GET /file.php HTTP/1.0 Accept-Encoding: gzip,deflate Host: myhost.com Isn't the above sufficient, is there any browser capable of displaying headers? All I got back was a normal response without any "Content-Encoding" header... regards, andré
