Hi there Wow, some thread this one! Most of it way over my head ;-( Perhaps some of you guys could take time out from doing battle and review a modest piece of work which I have developed - http://www.scl.co.uk/scripthash It's not a full blown "application server" (whatever that might mean ;-) but it does go some tiny way towards mitigating one of the key problems with mod_php which an "application server" would apparently address - the problem of running under the "wrong uid". I really would like some feedback, positive or negative ;-) TIA *************************************************** John Sutton SCL Computer Services URL http://www.scl.co.uk/ Tel. +44 (0) 1239 621021 *************************************************** -- PHP Development Mailing List <http://www.php.net/> To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-dev-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-dev-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net-- Zeev Suraski <zeev@zend.com> CTO, Zend Technologies Ltd. http://www.zend.com/
