From the description it reads like the description of a shared
memory based communication mechanism which tries to establish
authenticity between components that do not have a common parent
process.
If I got that correctly, it is related in its effects or aims to
what for example secure ONC RPC (Sun RPC) does. This could be
used to establish authenticated communication between a
webserver call stub and an application server (a generic
scripthash client in your model).
