You mean server, right? If you use mailbox format (not maildir), then there should be no problem using UW imapd. If you want to use maildir, there really isn't a good solution. There are patches to UW imap to add support, but one annoyance of any IMAP server that handles Maildir folders is that the IMAP unique-id scheme is restricted to 32-bit integers, which doesn't map well to the Maildir unique filename scheme. (Unlike POP3's UIDL, which doesn't have such a stupid limitation.)
