Is it possible that the scanner be modified to include <![CDATA[]]> ? for instance <script language="php"> <![CDATA[ ]]> </script> Ideally should not produce and error by the PHP parser. I can only assume that having the scanner scanner ignore <![[CDATA[ ]]> will not break anything. Is this correct?
