I've setup a copy of the docweb CVS module live. I've updated DNS so that
we have *.docs.php.mirrors.powertrip.co.za and
docs.php.mirrors.powertrip.co.za pointing to the checked out version of the
site. Excuse the mess while I get everything setup so that we can start
focusing more energy on this project. I'm going to document the apache
configuration etc. once I've figured out what exactly needs to be in there.
I'm going to setup a cronjob to automatically update the site instead of myself typing the various 'cvs update' commands once everything is up
and running.
Great. Would this server handle a live testing of livedocs, if announced? Derick hinted he is going to set up livedocs at docs.php.net, so it will be available for public testing, but it does not seem to be too fast (and never seemed to be so).
Would it be any problem for you if we point doc.php.net to this machine (as docs.php.net points elsewhere)? We still need to fix this up with the systems guys. I can add a subdomain very easily myself, but it still needs to be discussed :)
