Cheap is relative, but I see where you're coming from. I'd still recommend rcrackspace.com, for example, but we had a couple bad experiences with them. We were paying for weekly tape backups, and unfrotunately had a need to restore some lost files. OOPS. Rackspace. didn't hook it up right. So we had no files backed up. Actually, we're going thru this again with them. And in another case, they mistakenly shut down the wrong server (OURS!) because someone misread an email to tech support. OUR machine was taken offline and was about 5 minutes from being reformatted for someone else. This particular client is paying over $2k/month for rackspace servers, and we STILL get treatment like this. I'm not syaing they're BAD - they're growing, and these are pains you deal with. And we always get stuff resolved, BUT, mistakes and problems happen no matter WHAT price you pay.
