Well, I don't know about Alpha - you need to have perl installed to run the
apxs script, and you need to find the path to the apxs program (updatedb, then
locate apxs - it should be in one of your bin directories) and compile apache
with that. Read the docs on the site (Apache) for more info on supported
platforms.
