I've thought about doing this on one of those 80mm or wallet-sized CDs. The primary problem has always come back to chosing how to deal with paths. I've never really launched into the project, but I recall being concered if I could get everything working with relative paths, since the root drive assignment would/could be different (well, for win32 environments at least).
The disk capacity should be more than sufficient, or I would think so.
Please let us know, or let me know of the list, if this it too off topic for Leif. :)

Has anyone ever tried to run a PHP/Apache/MySQL system on one of those Thumb/Pen drive systems. You can get 128MB for $35 now and it just seems like a great way to carry around a demo system to clients. You'd just have to plug it in, run a little bat file to start everything up, and then start browsing your pages. It doesn't seem like it'd be any different than running it off of a hard drive. Has anyone done this? Do you think 128MB is enough? Thanks for any information... ---John W. Holmes... PHP Architect - A monthly magazine for PHP Professionals.
