Wouldn't a good accelerator automaticly encrypt things? I mean, doesn't PHP compile to bytecodes for faster execution? Then just cache the bytecodes... Accelerated and encrypted...No, encryption is not a good thing. It only slows down loading code as it has to be decrypted to be run. Encoding is not necessarily encrypting. Encoding just means serializing the compiled opcodes to be stored in files. Anyway, encoding that is what Turck does besides caching. The news is that it is the first Open Source PHP encoder.
