Encoding PHP sources makes me sick.
Intelectual property can be defended with a license, PHP is a fairly
simple language, sources are good to learn and see how other developers
do some things, sometimes you can learn how to improve your code,
sometimes you can learn how not to do something...
Encoding the sources is only against learning PHP.
