I think Zend.com is slow with no real connection to the menus.
I just went to see and it took quite some time for the main page
to load. It used to load much faster. Traceroute might show a
problem inside exodus so it might be temporary.
As for the menus, we got several "complaints" about the menus
being a problem and in the news letter we sent today we are asking
for ideas for alternative to these DHTML menus.

yes. i blame the menus :

they always take a long time to create, same with phpwizard.net - is
that 'slow' for you too ? weberdev has these too. on these type of sites
i tend to load a page then go to another window for awhile as seconds seem
like hours, especially when part of the page is visable! looks nice though
, easy to navigate ... just slow. a preference to 'turn this off' would
be nice.
