IE 5 is around 95% compliant so most code will work in it. In NN4.7, forget it. Soon as
NN6 is a finial release we will start detecting NN6 and IE 5 and send them off to the dhml
pages. Then send the 4.0 browser to non dhtml pages. From the stats on several of our
clients sites, we are finding there are only around 17% IE 4 users left. These seem to be
around 26% of NN4 users still around. You can bet that 26% will drop to near 0 when NN6 is
released. Most are either hard core Netscape users or linux users.
