No explanation required. I'm clear on the difference between server-side and client-side. My question was addressed to this group because I'm probably not the only developer to take a live site and produce a CD-ROM or hard drive version of it. A reasonable and frequent topic and this list of to ask whether anyone else is willing to share relevant experience or helpful ideas.
