PHP is a SERVER SIDE language, NOT CLIENT SIDE. I dont like to sound
harsh hear but this fact is repeated about 2 times a day in this group.
If you are going to want to provide a version that will go on a cdrom,
then you had better provide a server on the cdrom too, because netscape
and IE are not serves, only clients, they will NOT be able to parse
php files.
php as a cgi can parse a php file without apache, you could set something
up, but this isn't the best or easiest solution...
