Help me Please!!

I don't know if you can help, I have been using PHP 3.0.15 for some time now on my work server. It is on a base, so noone really has access to it. I recently acquired a group of mySQL data bases. Everything I have is installed from RPMs. Apache, PHP, mySQL. The problem I am having is when I recompile the PHP source, or recreate the RPM to include mySQL support, Apache no longer works. Does anyone in your group have a RPM of PHP set up to run with mySQL. At least does anyone know why my httpd crashes as soon as it comes up when mySQL support is on in PHP. The system I am running is a Pentium Pro running RedHat Linux 6.2, Apache 1.3 and mySQL (latest stable release). Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I am not a member of this mail list so if you have an RPM or suggestion please CC my email address below. Thanks in advance for you help.
