Depends how you build from source. In this particular case all you need
to do is build Apache using --with-layout=RedHat and you will actually get
the files in the same place since PHP asks apxs where to stick stuff.

Argh! trans-sid is not something to suggest to people. I personally
think it is a very silly feature. Why make 2 passes on a file on every
request, especially since the first pass is just to stick a static
<?=SID?> string into the file. Just run a little 'sed' script once on
your pages and be done with it. Or tie it into your cvs system or
something.
