There are laws against it in many cases. However in other cases its
allright. For instance in my case I'm copying graphics from amazon's site
to use to link to their products. they encourage you to store the picts
locally on your server. Another case is that you might be tying into
sites your compnay owns. Also there is "public domain" information that
you can copy legally such as if you pulled stuff from a phone book site.
So obviously watch copyright laws, but technology isn't outlawed yet.
