I said I still wasn't sure because I'm not. There are binary incompatibilities between PHP 5.1.2, PHP 5.1.more-than-2 and PHP 5.2 branch. PHP-GTK will _build_ against all three, but whether a build against one PHP version will work against another is a different matter. I don't think they will, but I need to test. - Steph
I'm still not sure whether I need to include PHP itself in the zip file. We have the choice of 5_1 branch, 5_2 branch or 'last stable release' (aka 5.1.4) and I'm not at all sure what to do about that yet. My instinct is to go for 5_2 branch and distribute it as part of the PHP-GTK alpha distribution.
I don't think we should be distributing PHP itself as part of PHP- GTK. People can download it. If they want a bundled package, they should use Gnope. -Andrei
