Looks good under MSIE too (apologies for swearing) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cory Christison" <cory.christison@gmail.com> Cc: "Scott Mattocks" <scott@crisscott.com>; "PHP-GTK Dev list" <php-gtk-dev@lists.php.net> Sent: Monday, July 10, 2006 8:55 PM Subject: Re: [PHP-GTK-DEV] notes and all that - the stylesheet challenge!
Hey, I decided to do some quick testing and it seems to work fine with the adjustments that I made. Check it out: http://dev.lavacube.com/gtk.php/ Adjusted stylesheet: http://dev.lavacube.com/gtk.php/style.css I tested in Firefox/Opera/Konqueror on Linux and Firefox/Opera/IE on Windows XP -- all seems well with these changes. - Cory Christison Steph Fox wrote:
Hey! Just a quick resurrection, I'll return to '$dead = TRUE' in a minute.
Yeah, where've you been anyway?
IMHO, this is it:
/* Default font size for elements */ body, ul, td, th {
    font-size: 85%;
}
TD is 85% of body, which already is 85%. Shrinks twice. This only happens when firefox is in "Standards compliance mode", and that's in gtk.php.net with the fixed dtd. With the same dtd as php.net the browser renders in "Quirks mode", that oddly (or not) sets the font-size as wanted. Or, I'm just talking rubbish...
Let's wait an hour or so and see if Scott and Cory's ideas worked :) Thanks! - Steph
